GuruScan organizes regular Open Experience events. If you are interested in improving your organization’s Knowledge Management, these are a great way to experience what GuruScan’s technology can do.
This blog post gives you a little background on these sessions and a rough outline of the general program.
Why do we organize these sessions?
Knowledge Management is boring.
Knowledge Management is time-consuming.
Nobody likes to fill out their expertise profile.

Because we realize how dull and boring KM sounds to many professionals, we organize Open Workshop sessions.
How does the technology really work? That is a question we often receive.
We believe that doing something is the best way to thoroughly experience and learn about it.

What is the Knowledge Booster
The Knowledge Booster puts the turbo on your knowledge inventory efforts. It is an integral part of the GuruScan Knowledge App (SaaS service) and is used to make a jump start with group knowledge inventories. The typical usage of the Knowledge Booster is to apply it to teams of 15-25 people.
The Knowledge Booster has 3 main steps which can be configured to fit the specific demands of any customer questions.
What can you expect from the Open Workshop:
For the Open Workshop, we use a dedicated demo environment in our technology. It is only used for the Open Workshops, so this demo environment has no elaborate Knowledge Base in it.
If you sign up for the experience, you will get a temporary login to this Demo installation. Your login will stay active for a few days after the session, so you can show your colleagues how cool it is!
In less than 1 hour, you will experience KM which is:
– Open to all, Wikipedia style
– Social, connecting also silent experts
– Robust to pull in non-responders
– Fun because it keeps you going
We have limited places, so make sure to sign up! The aim is to organize a short and clear experience for everyone. Therefore, we work with a maximum of 15 attendees. By default, the events will be organized in English and will take about 45 minutes.
No theory, no explanation, no brushed-up slides. This is not a typical sales webinar or pitch, just a focused experience in using the tool!
